Global Semiconductors MicroelectronicsPosition Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mixed-Signal Test Engineer to support the development, validation, and production testing of complex SoC ASICs for our Lidar and Photonic Products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with load board development, ATE platforms, and mixed-signal test methodologies. This role is critical for ensuring test quality, coverage, and yield optimization across prototype and volume production phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop load boards for mixed-signal SoC test on ATE platforms.
- Collaborate with design and DFT teams to define test strategies and hardware requirements.
- Interface with external test houses to support bring-up, characterization, and volume ramp.
- Debug test patterns, isolate issues on the tester, and drive root-cause resolution.
- Identify and resolve DFM (Design for Manufacturing) issues related to test hardware or test coverage.
- Analyze test results and work with design/validation teams to refine test coverage.
- Support silicon validation during engineering sample and qualification phases.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in mixed-signal SoC test engineering and hands-on experience in load board design, validation, and debug.
- Familiarity with industry-standard testers (e.g., Advantest, Teradyne, or similar).
- Strong understanding of mixed-signal test methods (ADC/DAC loopback, parametric test, digital scan).
- Experience with test debug tools and scripting (e.g., Python, C, or STIL-based test formats) is plus.
- Able to generate and understand STDF files
- Good communication skills and experience working with external vendors and cross-functional teams.
