Dr. David Lee is the visionary inventor behind the globally recognized digital interface standards, HDMI and DVI. In 1995, he founded Silicon Image and took the company public, revealing his ability to transform innovative ideas into high-growth business ventures. During his time at Silicon Image, Dr. Lee forged collaborative relationships with leading PC and consumer electronics manufacturers including Intel, Sony, and Panasonic, along with major Hollywood studios, to bring DVI and HDMI standards to fruition. HDMI was awarded the Technology and Engineering Emmy Award by National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) in 2009 and Primetime Emmy Engineering Award for Engineering Excellence in 2014. Dr. Lee was inducted into CTA (CEA) Hall of Fame in 2014 for these major contributions to the tech industry. Prior to launching Silicon Image in 1995, Lee was a principal investigator at Sun Microsystems Research Laboratories and the research staff at the famed Xerox Palo Alto Research Center (PARC). He is currently the Chairman and CEO of Scenera, a leading company focused on safeguarding human safety, security, and privacy in AI and IoT operations. A technology entrepreneur standout, Lee received his Bachelor’s (’83, with honors), Master’s (‘85) and Ph.D. (’89) degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from UC Berkeley.
Farhat Jahangir

Farhat is the founder and CEO of GSME, where he brings over 25 years of hands-on experience in the semiconductor industry. Farhat is an expert in product, test, quality, reliability, and supply chain areas covering various hi-speed communication ICs, MEMS-based and CE System-based product lines. In 2016, Farhat led Quantenna to its IPO, which paved the way for the company’s acquisition by Onsemi for a staggering $1.1 billion in 2019. As the General Manager/Vice President of Manufacturing at Onsemi, he successfully managed the 300mm EFK Fab as well as a revenue line exceeding $2 billion. Farhat is a recognized industry leader and uses his extensive experience to drive innovation in the field of semiconductor manufacturing. He began his career after graduating with a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arkansas.

Brad Paulsen

Brad Paulsen served at TSMC, NA as Sr. Vice President of Business Development. While at TSMC from 1997 to 2021, Mr. Paulsen was responsible for Strategy and Market Development of IDM, System Accounts and Start-up customer engagements as well as several Regional and Major Account responsibilities. Prior to joining TSMC Mr. Paulsen held several senior level Marketing and Sales positions at both National Semiconductor and Fairchild Semiconductor. He is a member of the board of directors of The Grande Center for Education and Economic Opportunity in addition to providing consulting services in the area of Business Strategy and Customer Engagement.
Mr. Paulsen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Behavioral Sciences from San Jose State University and a Masters in Strategic Business Management from Pepperdine University.
Simon Duxbury
Director
Simon brings over 20 years of design and development experience covering digital, mix-signal, analog, and RF products, as the Chief Technology Officer of GSME. In his most recent role as Vice President and General Manager of Quantenna Connectivity Division at Onsemi, he oversaw a $165 million product line, managing profit and loss responsibilities. Simon previously served as Sr. Vice President of Engineering at Quantenna, leading the company from its inception to its IPO. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Yale University and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
Saif Al Abri

Saif Al Abri is an accomplished Investment professional with extensive private equity experience across diverse sectors such as Technology, Infrastructure, TMT, and FMCG. He previously worked at Oman Investment Authority as part of the investment team. He was instrumental in developing the business case for its communication satellite project for Space Communication Technologies, a communication satellite company. He has also served as an investment committee member for Oman Investment Fund, Oman’s first VC fund. Additionally, he served as Chairman of an FMCG company in Oman. Currently, he’s a member of the Investment Team at ITHCA Group, focusing on technology and ICT sectors for Oman Investment Authority.
